Davo Philliips owner of Guten Biken garage Munich

Davo comes from a metalworking & design background and it shows in every bike he works on. Originally from Ballarat, Australia, Davo came to Munich on a scholarship to study at the Munich Academy of Fine Art in the Jewellery Design Department. He's a professional wheel builder and a trained mechanic who has worked in number of bike shops. Davo takes the time to thoroughly consult our customers, helping them to customise their bike to perfectly suit their needs - no job is too big or too small.







Kevin White 

Co-Founder / Back Office / Part-Time Mechanic

Kevin has always been passionate about cycling and working on his own bikes. He came to Munich to work in high-tech, transitioned to a life of freelance translations, and is now co-founder of Guten Biken with Davo. Kevin takes care of stuff behind the scenes like making sure we've got that perfect new & vintage parts for your retro racer. He also organizes the BBQs with Lauzie and makes sure our relationships with suppliers are tidy and efficient. Sometimes he wrenches on bikes, but Davo typically ends up laughing at him!

Ross Ireland head mechanic at Guten Biken Munich

Ross started out on an unpaid internship based on his pure excitement about bicycles, but his position soon turned full-time, after he decided to transition out of a photography career. His mechanical skills have improved our of sight and he is now an integral part of the operation. John Sims

John is the newest member of the Guten Biken team. He knows things about bikes that put the rest of us to shame, plus he's the kind of guy that arrives early and stays late - we are so happy to have him on board!

Lauzie Deakin 
 Accounts / Website / Social Media/ Merchandise / BBQs 
  Lauzie is a full-time jeweller but still finds the time to help keep things in order around the Guten Biken office. She organizes the Guten Biken paperwork, arranges the BBQs & merchandise with Kev and helps out with the website & social media.
