Cicli Bonanno - Futomaki Disc Frameset

The big-tubed Futomaki is the interpretation of the classic ‘90s Italian racing bicycle. By adding disc brakes and through-axles, we brought this timeless design into the 21st century. It carries forward the tradition of responsive oversize steel tubing for pure speed and intense connection with the road.

As with the rim brake version, the tubing is carefully selected according to the rider for precise handling and comfort under power. The carbon fiber ENVE Road Disc fork perfectly complements the idea of the Futomaki, adding just enough stiffness to keep you centered while absorbing the chatter of the road. Each Futomaki Disc is a unique exercise in balancing material stiffness and rider comfort, blending classic lines with new technology.

• Clean looks thanks to the fully internal rear brake cable routing from downtube to chainstay.
  
• The combination of our custom-bent round chainstays and the CNC-machined thru-axle dropouts provide direct power transmission to the frame for those who love to race.
• Custom CNC-machined stainless steel dropouts for 12mm thru-axle echo classic hooded designs.
• The Futomaki Disc is also available in luxurious Columbus XCr stainless steel tubing.
• As with all of our frames, most mounting points on the Futomaki Disc are designed in-house and made out of stainless steel to prevent rust in case of paint damage.
